Brief Bio: Though born in Radiant Garden, Kairi has little memory of her time there. Most of her memories come from after Radiant Garden fell to darkness and she was sent to Destiny Islands. She was taken in by the mayor and his wife and eventually adopted. She became insant friends with Sora and Riku and came to regard Destiny Islands as her only home. The three friends were only seperated when darkness overtook the islands. Because she was one of the seven princesses with no darkness in her heart she was not turned into a heartless. Instead her heart rested next to Sora's as he traveled the worlds in search of his friends. Without her heart Kairi stayed in a coma until Sora stabbed himself with the dark keyblade to release it. Not only did her heart return, but her nobody, Namine, was born. Sora lost his heart when he released Kairi's and was turned into a heartless. Kairi was the only one who could recognize him and was able to bring him back to normal. At Sora's insistence she stayed behind in Traverse Town instead of joining him to defeat Ansem. After his defeat, she was the only one of the trio to return to Destiny Islands.
Due to Namine's tampering with Sora's memory, everyone on Destiny Islands forgot about him. Though Kairi couldn't remember his name, she knew there had been another boy besides Riku she'd been close friends with. After a year, she finally remembered and sent a message in a bottle out to sea hoping it would reach him. She hoped that would be enough, but after a few months she decided that waiting around wasn't good enough. Axel used that to his advantage to try and kidnap her, but she was saved, when unknowingly to her, Riku opened a portal for her to run through. Unfortunetly she wasn't safe for long, as soon after she arrived in Twilight Town, Axel came again and took her away. Shortly after, she was kidnapped from Axel by Saix and locked in a cell in The World That Never Was. After Sora arrived, she was released by Namine and soon reuinited with Riku. When the heartless swarmed the castle, she didn't hesitate to jump into the fight with her two friends. Though inexperienced in fighting, once she had a keyblade in her hand she was able to fend for herself. The trio was finally reuinted and went together to bring down the rest of the organization. She rejoined with Namine and returned to Destiny Island after they thought Xemnas had been destroyed. But she realized that she had again been seperated from her friends when they had to stay behind to actually finish off the superior of the organization. She was afraid that they were going to remain seperated again, but the letter she sent to Sora finally reached him and helped bring him and Riku back to the world of light. Kairi was reunited with her friends again, and hoped that it would be the last time. She lived a relatively peaceful life for three years. |

| Personality: Kairi is a very bright and happy person. She loves to make new friends, and is always concerned if someone seems to be in trouble. Sometimes this concern can lead to excessive worrying, but when everyone she cares about is safe she's all smiles. She can be a little sarcastic at times, but only to her friends and people she knows know it is a joke. |
